A polka dot piece card......

There is lots of fun stuff on this card, and when I first saw this in the NEW Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue - I knew I had to buy this stamp set, that butterfly is so cute and I love this layered look.
I have changed it up a bit, mainly the colours used, and I think the image in the catalogue was like a pocket, with stitching along the bottom that the front flap tucked into, but I just wanted a card so thats what I made. While I adored to pieces the colours they used I didn't have all the items to 100% case it so I had to make do with what I had - but thats what we all do right? LOL.
You can check out the original on page 139 of our new catty.

The best thing about owning one of these fantastic catalogues are all the amazing images that are in it.

White base version.

Crumb cake base version.

Hmm Which version do you like the best?
Let me know in comments below if you have time and thanks.

A birthday fit for a teen

DO you know teens that just get embarrassed about birthday cards?  I know a few - or they aren't cool enough, or my goodness if they get one with one of those cars or boats on them (cmon you know which ones I mean) and while as adults we can appreciate the gesture, teens DO NOT lol.  ANyway Stampin' Up! have bought out a new stamp set called Whats Up?  ANd I love it, I automatically thought of teenage boys.  Accompany it with the gorgeous grunge stamp set, and the coordinating whats up punch and you are on a winner I think!

Its not overly embellished, the whats up sentiment is so super cool (notice no reference to birthday until the inside where it says happy birthday), a couple of arrows and some splats and its done.  Perfect teen card that won't embarrass them in front of their friends lol.

A box of flowers...

I have a box full of flowers for you all today - using the dsp stack moonlight, and the flower pansy punch and coordinating stamp set, I did add little clay flowers to the centre of a few of the stamped images, but chose to leave them white, it goes well I think, and yep Life Is Good!

Though I did change mine up I did find inspiration for this off of pinterest however I cannot find the owner - I did try and go back three or four different links without luck:(

I love these Kraft Grid journals from Stampin' Up! this is my second decorated one and this one is going into my handbag to use for moments and sayings I want to capture from my son when I am out and about that I can later Journal in my Project Life layouts.

I cased this front of the journal from a fantastic demo named Kimberly in the USA that I follow, I love her work:)
