To whet your appetite for all the goodies you can earn it's time for another Artfull Stampers Blog Hop!! You may have hopped here from Madonna’s Blog.  I’m stop #2 on the Hop and I’m glad you're here sharing in the fun!!

I will be showing you some ideas using the simply sent Kit
a 12 x 12 scrapbook layout
I took a card from the card kit, and then layered the photo matting through the middle of the card, then adhered it to the page, creating fancy accents and a journalling section, loved this.

Here is my double layout using the simply sent card kit. The main photo area has had a card from the kit flattened and a whidper white photo mat placed over the centre of the card, super quick and easy and gives very cute accents both on top and below the main photo image. One is decorative and one is for journalling.

A close up of page 1.

Close up again of the card used as a decorative piece in my layout.

A close up of some detail, the ferris wheel stamp (from the SAB set feeling sentimental) was embossed in white, and again on crumb cake scrap, I cut the centre of the scrap image out and added 3D onto the back then popped it onto original image to give some depth. The splodges is from flicking our frost white shimmer paint around, Love that effect.

A card for you now:
the card kit as it was intended

the envelope changed up with some extra dsp from the SAB freebie called sycamore street, its been cut to the same shape as the yellow flap of the envelope and glued on top, and a different stamp set called stipple blossoms has been added to the card in rich razzleberry to give the card a different look.
BIRTHDAY PLANNER
Now for my 3d project, I have turned the card kit into a box that holds a birthday planner.

The planner just sits in the box:

The front of the planner:
I have used the decorative section of one of the cards on the front and also the sycamore DSP, and the sentiment "celebrate" from the feeling sentimental stamp set. the button and ribbon is also a SAB freebie.
I have designed this planner as a savings planner. I put money away each pay for upcoming birthdays etc, so when the event rolls around I don't have to find the money, I just go to my planner take the money out and hit the shops. You will notice that this particular page says March and Sept. I have designed it that way( two months per page separate by 6 months) all the way through the planner mostly so that it isn't a monster of a planner lol, also so that by the time all of March is spent I can start saving for Septembers events. I just slip the weekly money into that month and I am covered. If there is no money needed for that month, and the new month is saved for, I then pop it into December, and thats my christmas savings.

The two sheets of whisper white actually go in the envelopes,  one each for the two months in that sleeve.  I can then write down whose event is on and what I have to buy for.
 the box:

Two cards from the kit, one side of each I have cut the fancy edge off and stuck the cut sides together. I have then made a basic box to put between the two cards and the box is done.
This is the back page: on the left is a little pocket with which to add things like receipts for goods purchased, until you are sure the recipients are happy with the purchase. The actual pocket is the remail of the card that I used as decoration on the front of this planner.
 Month of August and Feb.

Hope you like it :)
