I have been wanting to make one of these for a little while, they are so cute, and you could tuck a couple of seed packets in this to give as a gift - or part of for a keen gardener.
This week was strange weather, firstly quite warm, needing aircon, then yesterday was quite cool, needing jumpers, what's with that? Anyway was time to start getting our yard in order ready for our summer so that is what we started yesterday, I planted my first magnolia tree, can't wait for it to flower. The camelias are lovely, the agapantha's are starting to flower, the bird of paradise are already flowering, its a beautiful time of the year. Hence the little wheelbarrow and fork, just the implements we needed this week :)

I used crumb cake for the base, and Garden Green for the layers. Very vanilla is my card stock colour of choice for stamping.
The word seed has been die cut in crumb cake cardstock with our big shot and the now retired timeless type alphabet die. It has also been covered in crystal effects.
The word seed also replaces the pattern on the challenge I based this on this week, something a little different to ribbon or cardstock!
The inside:
A close up - the little fork has been stamped again, cut out and raised to give it more of a 3D feel.
The timing was perfect for two challenges with which I based the design on
Firstly the theme - Stampin' Up! Only challenge this week was elegant Fall, but seeing as though we are down under we can choose spring!
Second was the sketch which Just Add Ink provided this week
Details: All Stampin’ Up!
Stamp sets: French foliage, Countryside
Ink pads: Crumb cake, Early espresso, riding hood red, garden green
Cardstock: crumb cake, garden green, very vanilla
DSP: first edition
Tools: Big shot machine, timeless type alphabet die, Adorning accents die and matching embossing folder
Other: twine (retired), basic pearls, crystal effects.
