One thing I love about meeting up with some of my team each month (and having the ones from interstate join in) is the swaps, I love seeing my teams creativity, the great ideas they come up with, and yes some things I just have never seen before, its all a bit of fun and is like christmas morning as we all swap!
Well I have a picture for you today of my swap that I gave each team member, something that they can keep!
I used the new apothecary accents framelits for the base, used the music wheel to run over the whole die cut, then inked the edges first in whisper white kraft ink, then early espresso ink. Finally I used the negative of the centre snowflake die cutout and sponged whisper white kraft ink in the image to create white snowflakes.
The next layer is the rosette, which I make with our new rosette die, I then added the white snowflake die cut from our new bigz snow flurry die. On top of that is two stars in champagne glimmer paper made with the framelit from holiday framelits.
On the side of the rosette I have added two candy canes entwined with cherry cobbler twine. A large clear faceted button adorns the top of the christmas ornament, and on the bottom hangs two smaller faceted clear buttons glued together hanging from some more twine. Lastly the word noel stamped and cut out, glued and finishing off the whole look
I based this style of ornament from a fabulous lady HERE but wanted to make one that was all Stampin' up! products!
