Some watercolouring...

I pulled out my fifth avenue floral stamp set to give the water colouring a try as per my last post, I actually enjoyed water colouring for the first time.

I used the debossed side of the  embossing folder to create the background

The inside of the card:

I dyed the very vanilla seam binding to match the perfect plum cardstock.

I am entering this into the paper players Challenge this week.

 All Stampin' up!

  2. lol Mel, that's funny - I had the urge to watercolour too after watching the video, and I was going to use the same image! Sadly I had to clean my house instead. I love your card, your watercolouring is gorgeous and I love the dyed seam binding ribbon.

  10. Gorgeous card with so many beautiful touches!! The watercoloring of the flower is so beautiful and cutting it out to pop it up really gives it the WOW factor! What a fabulous idea to dye the seam binding to match the Perfect Plum color in the card. The purple is so elegant...one of my most favorite colors!
